Maui

The ocean laps the shore in the distance with mesmerizing consistency as I enjoy my first coffee of the day sitting on the lanai at Kapulanikai. Birds are singing and we are far enough from the highway where all you hear is the sounds of nature. I look forward to the adventures the new day will bring but, in the moment, am happy just to sit and take in the sounds of the new day at this moment.  My wife's family have been coming to this remarkable oasis since the mid 70's. I have visited multiple times since 2018. The images in this collection are from those multiple visits and include urban and rural landscapes in both black and white and color.
