2012 Exposure Photo Festival
Steve will be presenting a talk on "Photography as an Agent of Change" at the Endeavour Arts Gallery on February 2nd. The talk will focus on images from his most recent trip to China where he visited four leprosy colonies deep in the heart of Yunnan Province in southern China.

Steve will be exhibiting his new piece "Summer Flow, Big Horn Creek" as part of a group exhibit with Bill Peters, Jan Boydol and Tom Hamp.

Chinatown Street Fesitval
As part of the Chinatown 100th Anniversary celebrrations, Steve will be exhibiting original photographs and signing copies of his new book, CHINA - Guangdong Province Portfolio.

Summer 2009
This past summer has been busy and I have had multiple exhibits including: Solo show, April, SAIT; May, Group Faculty Show, ACAD; Group Show June, Temagami, Ontario; Group Show, July, Société francophone des arts visuels de l’Alberta.

CONNECTION: 25 Years of Landscape Photography
Solo exhibition “Connection” documents a life focused on capturing the quintessential landscape image. Steve has pursued landscape photography consistently since he acquired his first 35mm camera in the mid 1970’s.

A Walk in the Woods - Fall Colours, Ontario
This exhibit showcases a series of large format, colour images from Ontario by Steve Speer covering north central Ontario and the majestic fall landscapes of Lake Superior.

Grand Opening
The grand opening of FourbyFive Gallery of Photography took place on September 1st, 2005. It was well attended with many indivduals appreciating the art work, wine, appetisers and live music.
