As indicated on the 'about me' section of the site, my focus has been primarily on oil and gas corporate reporting. At one point the key reporting piece for the year was the Annual Report and all other design, such as quarterlies, PowerPoint etc. used the AR as a visual reference point.
Now most budgets are directed to the web site which has become the key reporting vehicle. There is still validity in creating well designed documents which are destined for PDF delivery. The benefit here is that they can be made interactive with navigable 'Table of Contents', embedded video and moving graphics; all things that make for efficient information delivery and create a richer user experience.
I have been working at learning the most current technologies for web development and design. My sites are created using Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) which are W3 compliant. If programmiing is required I act as creative director and farm-out this portion of the site development to individuals who are skilled in this area.
